In just over a week we’ll be live-blogging from the city that was and is filled to the brim with signs of innovation, sources of inspiration and insanely creative folk. We’re ecstatic to announce that our first live-blog from a hackathon in the United Kingdom will be from Manchester!
This live-blog will follow a similar format to our coverage of Hack{Cyprus} 2013, putting myself and a handful of our support team on the ground to cover all 24 hours of HackManchester 2013. If you’re attending, look out for us in our black and orange ‘Connect’ tshirts. I love a geeky conversation as much as the next guy, but we’d also love to hear more about you and what you’re building, as well as what you do during your day job, Mr Kent*.
We’re only getting started in the UK, but are truly dedicated to helping startups, solo-entrepreneurs and freelancers get both a great place to work and affordable services and supplies. If you’d like more info, do come and find us at the hackathon, or send us a message.

This event has started, or if you’re reading up on this afterwards, it has obviously passed. :)
We’ll be at more hackathons around Europe this year, if you’re going to one we haven’t announced, let us know!
- Going too? Send us a Tweet! Get more info about HackManchester
*Our knowledge of secret identities of female superheros is embarrassingly lacking, if you can provide us with an example, we’ll be more than happy to update the post to reflect how unprejudiced we are.
