TURN8 is a seed accelerator program launched by DP World to foster a global entrepreneurial and innovation culture in the UAE. The aim is to inject entrepreneurial know-how and accelerate commercialise-able ideas to market. This revolutionary program strategically scouts for early stage ideas and concepts from around the world that can be refined and brought to market through the TURN8 seed accelerator.
You can apply online from below or pitch at one of their Innov-a-thon events in either Barcelona, Nis, Dubai, Kazan or Beirut.
Chosen teams get to go to Dubai and undergo a 120-day “Rapid Fire” Business Modelling and Prototyping seed accelerator, where they receive training and mentorship to turn their ideas into viable business ventures. TURN8 also provides seed funding to the teams, and extensive follow-on support to help them receive additional investment. TURN8 invests $30,000 USD per founder and takes from 10% to 20% equity.
