The Village Hive, located in the beautiful old Schoolhouse in Markham Village, joined the coworking movement in January 2016. Inspired by the Centre for Social Innovation in Toronto, The Village Hive was opened with the purpose of bringing people together; to build community in this day and age of technology and remote working. Working from home can be isolating and lonely. Meeting in coffee shops can be distracting and unprofessional.
We provide a welcoming place for entrepreneurs, freelancers, people with workplace flexibility to come together for networking, collaboration and health & wellness.
Bring your laptop, work for the day, enjoy free coffee/tea & great company and join one of our many workshops that are offered and our Thursday networking lunch to get caught up with others.
We are always excited to welcome new members.The Village Hive has a private office, boardroom, lounge, kitchenette and a beautiful yard that can be enjoyed in the spring and summer.
