American Express has announced a partnership and integration with Meetingsbooker to bring 150,000 bookable workspaces and meeting rooms into their Global Business Travel portal’s Meeting Express platform.
I’m a huge believer that partnerships like this are not only obvious, but will be increasingly more popular as the decision-makers re: office space shift. And I definitely haven’t been alone in seeing this huge opportunity.

💰 Local coworking space discounts access for womxn to ‘give back the gap’.
Whilst the gap between what men and women earn is slowly decreasing, the tuesday coworking team have shared that they don’t want to wait till 2086 for equal pay to be achieved. So they’re ‘giving back the gap’.
This month they announced an ongoing discount for freelancers, entrepreneurs and solopreneurs who identify as women. This 19% discount corresponds to the 2020 unadjusted gender wage gap in Germany.
They’ve invited spaces nearby, and across the world, to join in and help close the pay gap.
🤙 Key learnings from BE.Spoke (UK) and The Executive Center (APAC).
Robert Kropp from Syncaroo shares key learnings and insights from both Jonathan Weinbrenn from BE.Spoke and Chelsea Perino from The Executive Center in the 7th of his 8-part series with allwork.space
Just a few topics they discuss are the changes in flexibility, compared self-delivery vs space-as-a-service, changing landlord focus and how new demand compares to their current/previous products.
🛍 Workspaces in retail mixed-use locations in suburban & rural markets.
Mark Dixon of IWG announced that they’d be launching new Spaces locations in retail (or mixed-use) locations to bring flex workspaces into more suburban and rural markets.
Whilst this trends with what we’re seeing from retail/mall developers like Westfield and others, increasing footfall to retail locations through flex workspaces, it’s interesting to see it applied outside of urban centers.

Christoph Fahle of betahaus and One Coworking shares ‘coworking’ is becoming a standard for what people now just call ‘working’, and what that means for the industry.
